About Me

 As I said on the home page - My name is Jon Trevor, and I am passionate about communication!

I have an eclectic background.  I have been an actor, a theatre director, a writer, a salesman, a university lecturer, a journalist, CEO of three SMEs, a trainer, a facilitator, a consultant.  In one form or another I have been teaching, training, communicating and facilitating, for over 30 years.

I have run training courses for companies and bodies of all sizes and sectors.

I am a member of AIN (the Applied Improvisation Network), for those who use the skills and methods of Theatre Impro to bring about social, personal, political or organisational change.

I am proud to be a key associate at Purple Monster Training, and an associate at Helmsman CTC

I am the author of The Group Games Database CD-ROM – a fabulous training resource.

I founded, and still run, Box of Frogs, Birmingham’s Premiere Improvisation Group.

I have had features and articles published in The Guardian, Financial Times, The Training Journal, Dive Magazine, Skydive the Mag, on Radio 4 and others.

I founded EventHorizon, creating random public events of delight.

I am a licensed and experienced skydiver and videographer with over 1,500 skydives in my logbook. I am a UK 8-way Sequential Formation Skydiving Intermediate 2010 National Champion.

I am a BHA accredited Humanist Funeral Celebrant
